As a Premium Grade A, PEZA-certified office tower, One Global Place stands as a hallmark of modern corporate architecture. Developed by Daiichi Properties & Development, Inc., this 27-storey landmark required an execution strategy that balanced aggressive construction timelines with uncompromising structural integrity.

Stepping in as the specialized structural subcontractor, Frey-Fil delivered the advanced post-tensioning systems and precast concrete solutions that turned this architectural vision into an enduring reality.

Maximizing Space Through Advanced Post-Tensioning

Great engineering is invisible but profoundly felt. Working under the rigorous structural consultancy of Sy^2 + Associates, Frey-Fil designed and executed the post-tensioned slabs that form the backbone of the tower's 18,829 sqm Gross Leasable Area (GLA).

By utilizing our core competency in post-tensioning, we achieved two critical architectural milestones for the project:

• Optimized Vertical Space: We minimized floor plate thickness, allowing the building to comfortably maximize its vertical layout while maintaining desirable 2.6-meter office ceiling heights.

• Structural Efficiency: Our systems reduced the need for dense internal support columns, giving future tenants open, flexible, and premium 'Bare Shell' office spaces.

Precision Precast Concrete: Speed Meets Sophistication

Building in the heart of a booming economic district like BGC demands flawless logistics and rapid execution. To keep the project on a tight schedule between 2009 and 2011, Frey-Fil integrated high-performance precast concrete components, manufacturing them off-site to reduce on-site 'wet work'.

• Precast Concrete Facade Panels: Manufactured by our precast manufacturing arm, Filfirst Concrete Innovations, Inc., these panels guaranteed uniform texture and color and formed the building’s premium exterior 'skin.' Beyond aesthetics, they provided superior thermal insulation and advanced sound dampening.

• Architectural Cladding: Engineered to be lightweight yet remarkably durable, these custom units defined the sharp, geometric silhouette designed by the renowned architectural firm Aidea.

• Precast Stairs and Parapets: Standardized units were rapidly installed as the building climbed, keeping the core construction moving upward without delay.

Seamless Execution in a Congested Urban Hub

The true measure of a general construction 'AAA' licensed company lies in its ability to solve complex logistical puzzles. Bonifacio Global City is notorious for tight urban constraints. Frey-Fil managed a meticulous Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery schedule, transporting and hoisting massive precast panels directly from our trucks straight onto the building frame.
