Frey-Fil Corporation Tree Planting Activity

Theme: “Planting trees is the easiest way to align with nature — it gives back more than it takes.”

On November 29, 2025, Frey-Fil Corporation held a meaningful tree-planting activity within the Frey-Fil Corporation premises in Barangay Pinugay, Baras, Rizal. This initiative is part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, focused on environmental protection, sustainability, and community collaboration.

The activity was conducted in partnership with the Municipality of Baras and DENR–PENRO Rizal (NGP-Nursery). The fruit-bearing trees, narra, and banaba seedlings were generously provided by the DENR, while the pine trees were supplied by the Municipality of Baras — a shared effort that made the event even more impactful.

The program opened with welcome remarks from Ms. Siony Francisco (HR Officer), followed by a message of support from Mr. Nestor B. Avenido Hr. (Plant Manager). A special message was also delivered by Mr. Roseno C. Amonelo (Municipal Agriculturist II), highlighting the importance of unified environmental action.

A total of 115 participants took part in the activity, planting a diverse selection of trees essential for reforestation and ecological balance:

• 20 Pine Trees (from Municipality of Baras)

• 20 Narra Trees (from DENR)

• 25 Banaba Trees (from DENR)

• 205 Fruit-Bearing Trees – Malaruhat, Langka, and Bayabas (from DENR)

Through this initiative, Frey-Fil Corporation affirms its commitment to giving back to nature and supporting the long-term well-being of the community. By working together and planting trees, we contribute to a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.
